CONCEPT DESIGN | SIKA 2009

I have teamed up with Laura Currais, and Pablo Muñoz for this years SIKA contest. After an intense brainstorming we decided that building a transatlantic was the most realistic but also satiric way to answer to the brief about building a complex in Caiman island so that politicians all over the world can meet and solve the world economic crisis that is hitting all of us so hard these days.

We didn't have much time so we just took this amazing drawing by Stephen Biesty from the book Incredible Cross-Sections just as found,  and we added some details here and there. If we had won we would have sent a check to Mr. Biesty.
