Calvin & Hobbes 25th anniversary

It's 25 years since Bill Watterson's first Calvin & Hobbes strip hit the newspapers. I just combined here the first and the last strips of this my all time favorite cartoon. What a great memories reading them on Christmas and summer holidays. They are all collected in this beautiful box set edition.

Calvin at his best

Bill Watterson is such a unique cartoonist. Take a look his  Calvin and Hobbes strip published today in the newspapers all over US. All his strips have been collected in many different books throughout the years, and later in The Complete Calvin & Hobbes.

Calvin & Hobbes first strip

Today a new comic strip hit the American Newspapers: Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson. I didn't discovered Calvin until years later in El Pequeño Pais pages a dominical by Spanish newspaper El Pais. It's one of the comics I liked from these days and still today is one of my favourites. It ran for a decade until December 31, 1995. The strip preseted above is the first one, as appeared with Bill Watterson's comments taken from the Calvin and Hobbes 10th anniversary book published in 1995.
