Ian Nose is preparing a new series called Archifreaks. He is so lazy I really don't know when is going to be released but meanwhile he does small pilots to warm up I guess. This one is a very special one; to celebrate that Miguel Beloqui has finished it's final project and he is a Mr. Architect. Congratulations to him and his soul mate Sergio from studio cr3am.me.

It is special GIF version that show three stages of the creative process of the comic. The image changes every 10 seconds.

Toriyama Today

The japanese seem to be concerned about the future. At least that is what it seems looking at this Biosphere project I just found surfing the net. You don't need to know japanese to get an idea of what is this about. The cute drawings of Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball and DrSlump comunicate it amazingly well.

Making of the Computer Graphics for Star Wars

Star Wars is being re-released in 3D starting on February 10th with Episode I The Phantom Menace. I was looking for a featurette that will explain the making of the conversion of the 2 dimensional film into 3D but I found out something even better.
The video above is the making of the computer animated graphics of the Death Star as seen on the original  Star Wars from 1977. Lucas and his friends pioneering from the very first day.
The work was done by Larry Cuba in the 1970s at the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) (at the time known as the Circle Graphics Habitat) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

McDonald's Commercials - Suppliers

After watching this, who in the world doesn't want to eat a bunch of french fries? The magic of advertisement. Down here more of the same, this time with lettuce and beef. That is marketing!
