“One thing is to be solidary, and another thing is to be solidary in exchange for nothing.” said a spanish wise man. This could not be more true than in the streets of San Juan where inequality is the bread and butter of everyday life.

Written and directed by Paola Perea in 2012 and revisited after being in oblivion for half a decade, this short film was originally created for Bizarro Horror and Fantasy Short Film Festival that took place in the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. The revisited edition captures the essence of the original film, fitting the footage to Braham’s Hungarian Dance in its entirety and completely ignoring any dialogue and music effects from the original film.
