The end of Dragon Ball Serie Roja

A couple of years ago Dragon Ball came to it's end in Japan, so now it's time to say good bye to the Dragon Ball serialization in Spain too. With this Serie Roja #58 (number 211 including the Serie Blanca) ends the first edition of Dragon Ball in Spain. This last number came with a golden metallic printed title and a poster. It has been great pleasure following Dragon Ball for three years.

ITV News reporting on Nintendo 64 release

Nintendo 64 is going to be released on US in two days. It was released on Japan on June 23 and will hit European markets on March 1, 1997. That is the first console our parents let us buy.

Bye Bye Dragon Ball

With this title has ended Dragon Ball today in Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump. Akira Toriyama has decided to finish Dragon Ball, the story he started publishing back in December 1984, more than ten years ago. I feel really fortunate for having follow the story all this years almost at the same time it was been published in Japan thanks to the Spanish edition of Planeta de Agostini. It has been also so great to see it translated to Basque, as animated feature on Basque TV. But is not time to be sad, we still have time to enjoy Dragon Ball in here. The  Spanish edition (Serie Roja) is still being published  at a rate of 48 pages per month, so we still have two years of adventures with Goku and his friends to ahead.
